Launched in December 2024, the ClimateTech APPG will champion the UK’s £42bn ClimateTech sector, bridging policymakers and innovators to advance technologies tackling emissions, adapting to climate change, and enhancing sustainability. It will foster collaboration, celebrate innovation, and drive impactful dialogue to position the UK as a leader in climate solutions.
In the second half of 2025, the ClimateTech APPG will be conducting an Inquiry on the regulatory barriers to ClimateTech Innovation. This will investigate the current regulatory landscape affecting ClimateTech innovation in the UK, identify barriers impeding technological advancement and deployment, celebrate best practice, and recommend policy and regulatory reforms to accelerate the growth and adoption of ClimateTech solutions essential for achieving net zero and growing the low carbon economy.
Full terms of reference and a call for evidence will follow in July 2025.
